There has been another attempt to gain details of taxpayer bank accounts through false emails purporting to be from HMRC.
An example is as follows:

After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activities, we have concluded that you are eligible to receive a tax refund of 1,500.89 GBP.
Please submit the tax refund request and give us 2-3 days in order to process it.

Note : A refund can be delayed due to a variety of reasons, for example submitting invalid records or applying after deadline.
