Revenue Business Payment Support

From 24 November 2008, H M Revenue & Customs introduced a new, dedicated Business Support Service designed to meet the needs of businesses affected by the current economic conditions.


Clients worried about being able to meet tax (including Income Tax and Corporation Tax), National Insurance, VAT or other payments owed to HM Revenue & Customs or if you anticipate that payments coming due will cause you problems, you should contact us as soon as possible.

Alternatively the Business Payment Support Line is open seven days a week on 0845 302 1435

We can assist you to reach arrangement with the Revenue and in our experience the Revenue staff are being generally more understanding than may have been the case in the past.

The Revenue will review your circumstances and discuss temporary options tailored to your business needs, such as arranging for you to make payments over a longer period.

The Revenue we will not charge additional late payment surcharges on payments included in the arrangement, although interest will continue to be payable on those taxes where it applies.
