Change in VAT rate - reminder

On 1st January 2010 the rate of VAT will revert to 17.5% from the temporary rate of 15%.

The change will affect fuel scale charges as well as sales and purchases.

HMRC have issued guidance for businesses http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/vat/forms-rates/rates/rate-rise-guidance.pdf covering most cases, but if you need further assistance then please contact us.
