During October all businesses will receive their new business rates valuation, together with a breakdown of how it has been calculated.
The new valuations will form the basis of business rates bills for the next five years, so it is important to inform the Valuation Office Agency of any factual errors or inaccuracies for 30 November 2009. Checking the basis of the valuations could save significant amounts over the next five years.
