Watling & Hirst Ltd Chartered Certified Accountants is a long established accountancy firm based in Chichester, West Sussex. Having traded in Chichester for over 100 years, Watling & Hirst has a diverse client base representing a broad spectrum of industries ranging from IT and financial services to farming and construction. We specialise in assisting small and medium sized businesses with their accountancy and taxation affairs and in Self Assessment for private individuals. We provide a full range of tax services from Corporate Tax and Income Tax to VAT, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning.

Our approach to compliance with statutory obligations whilst maximising client wealth in a tax efficient manner means we have many long standing clients as well as an ever growing portfolio of newly established enterprises. We offer the traditional services that you would expected from a professional firm of Accountants, ranging from auditing and accounting, to taxation planning both at a personal and business level. Our true value is in the additional services we offer, aided by our close links with finance providers and our knowledge of local markets. This enables us to assist clients with business reorganisations, expansion and establishing new ventures, by way of introduction to national lenders at the local level and also with the preparation of business plans and forecasts.

Our newly converted modern offices in Chichester are geared to provide accessibility and comfort for both staff and clients. We have access by car from Cawley Road and pedestrian access from the Basin Road public car park, allowing easy access from the city centre as well as the bus and rail stations.
